Cigarette Top Gun 39 Unlimited

I've decided I want one of these. Any opinions on the triple 600's setup like the one demoed by Hideaway Marina vs. the Lip-Ship edition "Powerboat of the Year" with the Zul 700's (or was it 750's). Pros and cons of each would be welcome. It is important that the engines run on pump gas, are very reliable and can be serviced in South Texas. Oh, and I want to cruise at 80 mph on the Gulf of Mexico when I feel like it.

Thanks y'all,

vonb

A twin 600 boat will run approximately 88 mph. I don't have any experience with a tripple set-up. I know from experience with 39 OL, the ilmor viper setup is faster, will cost an extra 35,000, but is a very reliable set-up.

I friend of mine has a new 39 top gun and it runs 88, it gives a nice ride but cabin space is tight. Nice boat.

Believe it or not the Zul 750s get better gas economy than the 600 Mercs.3 600 Mercs would be rough on your wallet at the gas pump.

Of course it's tight after you get out of the 51 OL
