SBI/APBA Elizabeth City Sep 23- 25, 2005
 

I am looking forward to having you guys show up! This town is starved for things to do at times. I will be on the shore watching from start to finish....maybe I will have my boat by then :D (wife decided to start her business this summer and we emptied the savings :( ) and spectate with the family on the water. If any of you guys/ gals have questions about the area or need help in any way let me know. I live 5 minutes from the offshore course. Look forward to seeing you here................Ross

Elizabeth City is in North Carolina near the coast just south of Virginia. OPA has a race scheduled in Cambridge, Md. the same weekend. Cambridge has turned out good boat counts the last 2 years and I would expect the same this year. Good Luck!

Robbie I will check with my wife ..names sound familiar. BuoyHunter we are just off the Albemarle sound up the Pasquotank river the APBA website shows the race course within the Pasquotank. Should be a blast to watch the race hopefuly we get some wind out of the east big chop isnt uncommon.... Big swells are unlikely considering we are protected from the outer banks you might see some on the sound side of the course.

Got the crap beat out of me crossing the Albemarle Sound south of the Pasquotank last year. Hope they don't lay the course out too far south. (Or maybe that would make for some spectacular racing...) At least there is a MAJOR Coast Guard station right there to provide support.

FL you ought to know my brotherin law he used to be a coaste . cheif warent officer zedoln vance mosely . any way he is the head of computers at the ELIB city school, my sister is a secretary at one of the schools ,. are you comming down to fountain for the race hope so look me up . :drink: :drink: robbie
