Ahhh, now don't be that hard on Milbury. When they were playing the Sabres in a quarter round of the Stanley Cup back in about 84/85 something like that, all of the Bruin fighters were out of the line up with injuries. Milbury made it back for game three and the first thing he did was pound the hell out of Kevin McGuire. He at least "showed up" and THAT is the important thing.
Keith Magnuson (RIP) of the Blackhawks would have to get the "punching bag" honor. Nobody fought more, or lost more, than Keith. Always thought he got a raw deal when he coached for those two years or so.
I was prepared for an onslaught of "Probie" pictures.

I think the best thing that can come out of this is nobody hurt and I,m sure more people will hook up before leaving the dock I know I will. Somethings we learn the hard way and sometimes from other people who are learning the hard way.

Thank god no one is seriously hurt!
Maybe educating people is the best thing to do. In general, we all think it will not happen to us. But it happens to even the most experienced boaters. I just think that those that are selling the boats need to start including more safety equipment with the boat. All boats should come with the proper PFDs, lanyards & fireboys. I just think that the industry standard need to standup to the plate and make certain items an industry standard for both new & used boats.

Dont know if all boats come with safety kill switches, but I do know that if you have one, do not assume it works. Was at the pier and decided to test mine while sitting their and pulled the lanyard, much to my suprise the motors continued running. Like any other electrical switch they become corroded from lack of use. Test It!!!! The time you need it the most you want it to work.
