We just can't tell what happened at this point. It would be one thing if the drive was mangled, and the drive fell off the boat immediately; strickly indicative of impact. However, there is no mangling. The drive stayed held up by the prop, and kept power, until I came off plane. The only way I knew something was wrong is my steering became sluggish, and trim stopped working. Luckily I was only a 1/2 mile from the trailer.
