Anyone in the Salem, CT area????
 

I have purchased a used marine generator for parts and looking for first, a company/person to build a wood crate to ship it in...and second a trucking company to ship it from Salem at a decent cost to Missouri....

It has become quite a hassel to get any shipping company in that area to be cooperative in either building a crate or shipping the item without a fully enclosed crate!!! FedEx first said they would ship it for me...but when the guy I bought it from went to drop it off, they declined to ship it unless it was in a fully enclosed crate!..

If the guy will drop it off then check Forward Air. They have crates that he could just put it in. They have a web site. They are about as cheap as it gets.
