blackhawk drives
 
does anyone know about blackhawk drives? i have one with the prop shaft wiggles slightley and the two props rub so slightley together. any suggestions?

Get it apart and checked. Sounds like you have a bearing between the shafts gone. Mine are perfectly tight, no lateral play at all.

Sounds like a bad bearing to me. Get ready to spend some dough too. You will proably end up rebuilding the entire drive before you are done. Post back on the board if you run into any problems getting parts.

I don't know what you mean by "wiggles" but my blackhawk had slight play between the inner and outer propshaft. If I remember correctly there is supposed to be a few thousandths of an inch there.

Did you check your thrust washers?

yes the thrust washers are ok

Also dont forget the washer between the props.
