Put the big sleeve "small shaft #3 or#5" and I still have slack??? Get out the Micrometer, a #6 Merc has 1.88" shaft, #5 or big shaft #3 has a 1.75" shaft.....but the Arneson 6 has a 1.69" shaft but still has the #6 Merc spline.....it just has no shoulder. Arneson overnighted the correct sleeves from Cali.....supposed to be here by 10AM. Hopefully we will be on the water tomorrow and can do some testing with the bigger wheels.
Originally, they were shipped with the drives to Hustler. They forgot to ship them with the boat.
I took a set off my Skater and sent them SAT delivery so that you can run the boat.
Make certain that you re-install the plastic clip in the prop!

The red trailer belonged to Hustler.
Rik, thanks again for the great service. We would have missed a great weekend of boating without it

Nice looking boat!! It should be cool to see what those new Merc wheels do. Are you guy's sticking with 5-blades?

Re: Pics of TMP/Extreme Hustler Project
We got the new sleeves for the props and got on the water about 2:00pm today. Thanks RIK!!!!! Engines ran absolutely perfect. Idle like 500's and make unbelievable power. Here is a pic of us running 89MPH at 3850 RPM with no boost. It runs 91 or 92 at 4000 RPM with no boost. We put 6 hours on it today and ran 75 to 100 most of the day doing laps around Center Hill. I was going to take a pics at 100MPH and up but the lake was congested and I was scared to not be holding on while at speeds above 90. This is absolutely the most powerful v bottom I have ever been in. The motors can turn more prop, but none of us have had the nutz to lay into this thing in the water conditions that we have had so far.
