Well I just got back from my keyfloat test < see post #11 >. . .

By the end of the second night, I had used ALL my flares. By daybreak of the third day, the last of the icecubes in my cooler were gone. Word to the wise - there are certain types of jellyfish that you should not attempt to eat, and despite rumors to the contrary, urine is no substitute for fresh water, although it did help to reduce some of the welts from the jellyfish tentacles. Fortunately some kindly mexican offshore smugglers saw the flames and smoke from my futile attempt to hotwire my engine.
