Looking at this pythin in fair play SC. Anyone know anything about it?

it should be pretty fast with that power. They are fun boats with a lot of performance. I've had three of them through the years. I don't think they make them anymore though. Last thing I heard was Python Jim was making counter tops

Yea that issue was with one that had 600 H.P. and bennet tabs. If you upgrade to 280 K-planes, the chine walk will go away. Chine walk becomes present at speeds over 80 mph. With stronger and longer K-planes you can set them down a bit and control the chine walk. Boats with such a narrow beam all have this problem if they do not have big planes.

I looked at one years ago and almost bought it, but the owner decided not to sell. If I'm not mistaken that was a cig mold as well as I think the 24 Pantara is the same. Nice and solid boat just no room.
