The reason I say safer, is hauling large quantities of high octane gas around is very dangerous, as is putting it in the boat.

Craig,

C & C in Manassas has the best price and sells CAM2 in 55 gallon drums.
I would not go that route though, these engines were dynoed on 93, so just to be safe go to Sunoco and get 94 octane on the trailer.

Cuda is right, those blue barrels of race fuel will expand like you would not believe when exposed to heat. Definately vent them regularly.

how much can you use in a 100 gal tank of regular gas?

So you're finally gonna bring the gun out in public. Not sure if I'll be out on Sunday, but I'd like to see it if I am. Give me a call.

You should be able to tow the boat to C&C and fill it there. Give them a call. 703-631-1265. I have a few contacts for buying gas in 55gal drums, but I'm at work. I'll call you later.
