and the Super Cat CRC boat is Record now is 158 mph with a one way top speed of 162.

one pass was 154 and the other was 162mph.avarage 158mph


The 42 Fountain Instigator boat has 525 mercs with # 6 drives .I think the old record was 109.

Sorry Sean, should have told you. I talked to Randy yesterday before he left for overseas, He told me Jeff was going to set a new record. Does anyone know if they have to be at weight when they set the record. I know the MTI's are coming in about 7500#s and having to add lead to get to the minimum wt. They have been routinely running mid 150' s on the straights at races with the wt.

So when are we getting those new MTI's big daddy.

heck i all i need is some 750's (cough, cough ) to run 160+ in the MTI? you all are gonna be trouble with 1200's....
