Matt,
It is unfortunate that you feel that we did not perform as represented on your transaction. The "rest of the story" is that your deal was approved subject to a satisfactory survey. No sea trial was required on the original approval. On 1/14/05 we received a survey that indicated that there were no motors in the boat. Obviously the lender had an issue with this and rejected the survey and requested that if the deal was to proceed, they would need a survey that then included a sea trial so they knew their collateral was in fact operational. Had the original motors still been in the boat at the time of survey, we would have been fine. This is the way that you and I originally discussed. As far as the lack of communication, I have emails from Mike in my office (credit underwriter) that you and he spoke on a number of occasions regarding the survey and in fact it was your friend (the former Newcoast rep) who you could not get in touch with and asked Mike to have her contact you. This was during the time of the Seattle boat show and you and I did in fact speak while I was traveling. I know your friend was not happy with me when her Newcoast relationship was terminated but will not get into that in this forum. I hope all is well now with your boat and am sorry that you feel we misled you in your transaction.
Kyle

I used Corey @ Newcoast to finance my Superboat. He lured me in with great terms and rate without hesitation. Some companies were reluctant to finance a custom boat at decent rates. Although I had a little concern with one of the other employees not returning my calls, Corey always seemed to get it handled when I informed him. All said, the money was tranfered to Superboat on time and I was happy. Thanks Corey.
