Default gas cap

help!!!!!!!!!!! gas girl droped my gas cap and can't find new one,its eddie marine flush mount ,mines 1998 and they changed thred pitch and don't make them anymore does any body else know about this! thanks!!!!!!!!!

It may be easier to remove your current bung and replace the whole unit. Another option is to take the bung to a local machine shop and have one made.

Get a tank and look for it. They don't go far. I worked at a gas dock for seven years and never had one I couldn't find. Bring a rake down and you will find it.

I had the same thing happen to on my Bullet. Took measurments off the other one and went to a local marine dealer. They had a whole wall full of different caps, and the guy wished me luck. Anyway after looking thru a number of them, settled on one and took it home. Come to find out it didn't fit the tank side that was missing but took it to the other side and low and behold it fit. Go figure. Good luck.

to replace the bung is a winter job would have remove the entire dash pod to big of a job for on the hoist ,was hoping somebody had an old one laying around any color i could paint thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
