Default Carrera SS7M or Signature 27-What Came First??

Which boat was produced first? What year was each introduced? I noticed they look very similar (especially the raised/rounded deck style) and was wondering if one was a "splashing" of the other. Did the Carrera SS7M have a 7' beam and the Signature an 8' beam? What other similarities and differences are there between the two??

Is the Avanti 26 the same as the Hustler 26 (which was originally the Signature 27)? I guess splashing is the highest form of flattery...
