Destin offshore Race (help!!)
 

:eek: We are looking for race or high performance boats to put on display starting next week for upcoming OSS race in Destinin the last week of sept.. The boats will be displayed in front of AJ's in Destin and in front of The Swamp in Ft.Walton. Security will be provided. We are also looking for volunteers for turn boats,pace boats, and race personel.
This is a last minute switch from Pensacola as Hurricaine Dennis made it impossible to run in Pensacola. Alan Laird, Gary Nicholls and David Woods are the driving forces of this event. Please call , or e-mail me if you have any interest in participating.

Stan,

I can put the word out to the support boats that help us in OB next Friday night during the safety briefing (Turn boats, med boats, tow boats). Don't know what kind of response it will bring, but it can't hurt to ask.
