I have a Garmin 182C chartplotter. I love it. It does everything I need.

I use the lowrance m68c which is a combo depth charter and GPS, comes loaded with all USA maps however the maps are don't have the fine details as a pure gps plotter. No chips required. It shows land, water, bouys, town names. I bought it due to it's size and provides all the ability I need for to find my way around. Depends on how much detail you need on your maps, I don't cruise the coast line so wasn't concerned about the details. I'm very happy with the unit.

1 Attachment(s)
NavMan 5500. Color, 5" diag.
They've extended the $175 rebate. The 5500 can be had for $515 online, then minus the rebate. More features than Garmin, C-Map cartography, and optional fuel flow monitoring for $150 (twins). I had my rebate in less than 3 weeks www.navman.com |
