GLH_ yes, the crayons do make a mess... and are slick when hot!!
Carrie-thanks a lot! I missed you guys at the Golden Eagle Poker Run this year. What happened??
R Addiction- yes that is a beach, we have 650 miles of natural sand beach on Eufaula lake. That is not a log, but a bit of the trailer bunk in the picture. But thanks for the concern!!
Eyezlee- Paul, hope to be to Grand before the end of the season. Where is everyone hanging at? Why are they calling Steve Hays the Godfather??
My wife is glad to have a little more time with me now. I would have made it to the water sooner, but she had some idea I should spend two weeks in Italy for our 25th anniversary. We guys know whats really important don't we!!
Thanks alot to all of you. It has been fun.
George

Well to tell you the truth, we forgot all about it until it was too late. We did a lot of work to the engine in B-Nauti and I think we were a little long putting her back together. We will plan for next year though. We love doing that run.

Re: The "Too Old" Sonic gets WET!!
Sorry about the engine thing, but I know how it is & I hope it works well for you. It was a pretty good ride the way it was!! I know I missed seeing you all, but I was too busy myself to even think of contacting you. Oh well, next year is always there!!
The "big News" from the Run this year is that the Duchess Creek Marina is no longer a host/card pick up spot. That's the one past "the cut" you go to with the small gas dock..... just as well if you ask me. It was a tough spot to get into with big boats, even if your "Good" at it.
Tell Mickey & the other Hi for me.

Re: The "Too Old" Sonic gets WET!!
I know it's been a long time since I posted but I had title problems with Oklahoma and South Carolina getting a good title. Just got it in July so now I can actually drive the boat!!
Since I have not been able to "run" it until now, I am now working out the prop issues & getting the "tune" right.
However,..... it does run 76 mph on GPS with 23 pitch props @ 4800rpm. The engines should handle 6000 but will the boat??... Now to learn how to drive it , trim it and prop it. Waiting on some props now.... we'll see what she does.
