Re: 1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?
I would take 16k for mine with the trailer ready to go.
3 covers, sweet stereo, SS props. Coast guard ready, lines, fenders, flares, everything. |
Re: 1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?

Re: 1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?
Great boat for handling the rough stuff...expect to see about 60mph...built solid but look for spyders in the gelcoat to be sure there just in-case....probably paid about 45-50 k for it....with todays market clean boats that are in the 20's are actually selling...so if you like the boat a lot...negotiate!

Re: 1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?
Is that twin 270 motors or twin Nova boats for $25 large?
If you've got $25k to spend on a boat you've got a LOT of options! |
Re: 1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?
I had an opportunity to get a Nova III when I bought my Formula, I didn't like the lines of the Nova!

Re: 1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?

Why wait? |
Re: 1988~Well Craft Nova III~should buy?
If you can find a nice formula for around 25k?. I looked at a few 89 272's about three years ago. they were asking 27-30k and had faded interior. not very well maintained. My point is that they do hold there value, but what you really want is a clean boat. Be patient, negotiate, ..its definitly a buyers market........I started off looking for formulas and ended up with a very clean stock 90' 26 nova st. they look much more modern than the nova III. the best part is that for the price , it looks just a good as a formula, yet 10-15 grand cheaper and not that speed is evrything, but I spank small block 272's and run next to bigblock 272's. now is the market to negotiate, stay firm ..don't impulse shop...my 2cents...good luck
