Good boating books??
I've read most of the books we discuss here on the board like Speed Kills, The King of Thunderboat Row, Blue Thunder (need to get a copy of Sea Race). Also recently read a good one on Carl Kiekhaefer called Iron Fist. Good book many of you may not be aware of.
Real intersesting section in Iron Fist about Carls endeavors in NASCAR. He was a force to reckoned with in the late fifties. He was running hopped-up Chrysler 300s!!! A lot of good discussion about the true developer of the outdrive too.
You gotta read Iron Fist,,,,,, Kiekhaefer was quite a character!!
How about some more ideas? What boating related books has everyone read that we should know about?

This is kind of off the track a little but I enjoy the "cruising guides" as I have found some real "off the beaten path" places that are just spectacular to visit. Grandma Dots on Sanible Island, Roland Martin's marina in Clewiston (Okeechobee Waterway), are just a couple.
