Well, here's the first 23" dual electromechanical Victory kit offered in a 'swirl' pattern finish. (finished w/ crystal clear powder coat for easy upkeep) Everything req'd for simple DIY installation is included! Actuators exert 1000lb+ each This ain't your grampa's trim tab system.

Corrosion protection in salt water doesn't get any better than ALL stainless. (NO dissimilar metals) WOW your friends with the coolest trim tab kits on the planet.

Martiniboat = 'custom'

The finish is nice, but they kind of look cheap, like bennett trim tabs. Sorry, I tell it like I see it

No problem Semper Fi, everyone looks out to the world through their own window

P.S. I suggest you turn your windshield wipers 'on'.

Maybe I need to use Rain-X? They look good for a non-high peformance boat.

Actually, a combination. Four holes on each mouting plate are thru-bolted.

EDIT- I should go on to say that the tab fasteners are 5/16" x 4" bolts (x4) and 5/16" x 1 1/2" (x8) stainless 'lag' screws.

Last edited by martiniboat; 08-30-2005 at 07:21 AM. Reason: clarification on fastener size...

Boy, tough crowd tonight ladies and gents!

Semper, I'm wondering if you're just used to the plethora of aluminum trim tabs (read: bulky/beefy looking, for lack of a better term ) on the market or the grandaddy of them all...the K plane. Remember, to achieve the same strength of steel, one has to (roughly) triple the material thickness (in aluminum) while working with the same basic design.

Here's a few snaps of the 'raw' stainless tabs' brother. Same basic design with a few styling twists. I feel the pictures I took yesterday may not be doing the product justice. Afterall, the 23" Victorys are spec'd for nothing BUT high performance boats!
