Re: Miami Vice CARRERA Question
I was wondering what kind of boat that was. That was the episode where Crockett identified the engines as "641's" or some odd ball size just by the sound of them. Good stuff.
Can anyone tell me what kind of boat that red one is in "Great McCarthy"? It has a radar arch and a giant bow rail around it.
I think it also says "Red Rider" on the side.

Re: Miami Vice CARRERA Question
Were there any more CARRERA boat appearances in other Miami Vice episodes or other tv shows and movies?
How about any CARRERA boats in offshore racing video footage from 1978 to 1986? (the S-111 "DAMN CARRERA" race boats of Carrera owner/builder Humberto Picon in particular) Who did the filming back then? Was it Freeze Frame or some other company/organization?

Re: Miami Vice CARRERA Question
THANKS for the info. Mr. McCarthy!! It's interesting to see how all these boats are tied together/derived from one another or if you want to go so far as to say "copied" or "splashed".

Re: Miami Vice CARRERA Question
Is there still a 1986/1987 "COBALT CARRERA" (30' Cobalt 300 S Condurre) for sale in the Salem, NJ area?? Boat was for sale awhile back in the Boat Shopper and/or The Salty Dog classifieds. Went down to check it out but it was gone from where I had last seen it in 2004 at the Penn Salem Marina. Boat was named "Born To Run".
If it was sold, is the new owner an OSO member and currently online??
