$40 a foot is too much. Im paying $10/ft :p

There is more than $40 worth of wax and conditioners on my boat each time its done. I have it conpletely done twice a year and then maintain myself.

And Im not rich either

Best wax job is done by someone else! I like clean boats, cars etc. but find as I get older I would rather make the cash and pay someone else to do it. Last detail was $225 for a 32 ft and I was happy to pay for it when it was 94 degrees out. Guy did a nice job but after I busted his balls a little it became a great job. My job is to pay for and operate the boat!

My son takes care of my boat. He does a better job than I could do. Not that I wouldn't try but he has all the equipment to do it right. Buffers, polish and most important, patience. :D
