I brokered my boat with him, he sold it and gave me a $40,000 rubber check, a couple months and many excuses later he coughed it up after my lawyer, Palmra PD, and the county prosecutor breathed down his back (he paid my lawyer costs also) i dropped the charges.
The Palmyra detectives told me there were a couple other unlucky customers who didn't get there money and are pushing ahead with legal action, civil and criminal.
If anyone knows of him operating a boat business it should be posted so we can advise our fellow boaters to stay away from his dealership.

I most be one of the lucky one I bought a Avanti 27 from Dennis back in 1982 and I am still running it today looks as good as the day it came out of the mold. I just bought the hull with the deck, teak dash and windshield. I finshed the boat myself. You can see pictures at www.lgpba.com. At the time my friend bougth one too his was the 13th one built and my is #15. Ok Dennis use to have guys from the sail boat company down the street come in and lay up the molds. The boat was a Cigarette 28 bottom, Deck was a 24 Pantara streached 3 ft. Interiors were 24 pantara done by Johm from Custom Cushion in Fl. He use to do all Cigarettes work before they had there own shop, and shared a building with Apache. The boat was built with a hook in rear, it was so thick on the bottom that I was able to grid it out. Back of boat is 1 inch shorter in height on one side. He didn't do much experimenting, as I mounted drive 1 inch lower than he was at time and picked up almost 5 mph more than the other boats with same hp. An Avanti 27 is one boat than I know every inch of.

Those boats are ugly and sell proof. Try and trade one in - never happen.

Buy a Pantera instead.
