Here's my transom. You can see the stainless holes on the transom where the water is diverted..... My exhaust and tail pipes are for wet application. Only difference is the water is diverted.

At 45 seconds you will get a small taste of dry exhaust. I'll try to get some video of starting and revving at the dock. Stay tuned.

Think about this with a triple application, The pipes will be extremly hot without water......in cases you have to adjust something.

Water is cooling the exhaust till just prior to the transom where it is diverted out.

Mine with Lightning have a inner and outer tailpipe tube. The water cools the tailpipe without being entered into the exhaust gases. The water exits at the end of the tailpipe outside the boat. Outer is 5" and inner is 4.5" with thier glasspack baffle inserted.

Heh, and people wonder why noise laws get passed, Duh. Boats with dry pipes are not doing the sport any good. I run wet exhaust and use mufflers in port even though there are not any noise laws in my area. Most people I know do this also so there is less chance of noise rules in the future. Boats with dry exhaust are way too loud and sound like crap in my opinion. Louder isn't always better.

I respect your opinion. The previous owner of my boat converted to dry to avoid reversion. My tail pipes do have the "gas shock" doors to close. They do make a difference when needed.
