Joe, the rent-all place by me rents small boat trailers. Call around to equipment rental places near your home or the boat.

Come pick me up on Silver Bay for a ride when you get it wet. I always wanted to go for a ride in one of those toys.

You got it Ron P ! I may be leaving it down in your area at a friends house so when I get tired of the big boat( Like that would happen ), I can cruise over and take it out for a little play time !

THanks for the tip on trailers but "hi-perf-2000" is going to try and help me out .

OSO baby ! One big family !

We could use a trailer to haul a 30' boat from NY to Cincinnati, but will need it till March, If anyone has any ideas, drop me an email.

boot,
I am currently in the process of redoing my 20' Baja jetboat. I have owned this boat for 9 years. Exception is that mine has
a Berkeley pump as opposed to the Jacuzzi. There is an Energizer kit for the Jacuzzi pump which is supposed to increase pump efficiency. The key to pumps is tight tolerances between the impeller and wear ring. Has the boat been run recently or any pump work been done. In some cases a jet pump may not need a rebuild for 10-15 yrs depending on how you use the boat. Drop me a line if you have any questions. Also get in contact with Greg Shoemaker at GS Marine. He is one of the jet boat gurus.

Thanks "pb" , I don't think it has been run for about a year .It was used in salt water . He says it is good but you know how that goes . I'll have to look into that energizer kit . About how much do you think it costs ?

THanks for any and all input on this boat .

SALT WATER!! utt ohh. The jet pumps and most impellers are made from aluminium. There are bronze and stainless steel impellers but I highly doubt that is what you have. I might suggest pulling the pump apart to check things out. Seloc has a book that covers maintenance and repair of jet drives. I do not own the book myself since I have the Berkeley manual. These pumps are a breeze to work on. Not sure on the price of the Energizer kit, but check Eddie Marine for the price.

Go to Americanturbine.com for the energizer kit.
