Look at the towers on top of the arnesons, that unique.

My guess its to keep the tie bar out of the water. Wonder it it allows the drives to move.

OMG,,,, this is over the top, Skater has set the bar awfull high this time,, this thing is years ahead of everyone else. The design is pure poetry,, no swirlley paint, no lightning bolts, no clutter,, this one would look as great in straight, one color silver paint! I am not sure why everyone talks about the price of this and every other Skater, they were never and they will never be priced at the lower end, there are many other boats that fill that price scale. This boat may not be cheap, but you can be assured that every piece of fiberglass, every gallon of resin ETC. is the strongest and lightest there is. You will always pay more for a "Tiffany Diamond" then a comparable Diamond from the corner Jewlery store. And if you want to sell it, the one from Tiffany will always bring more.

which will your G/F or wife rather have Tiffany's or the corner store,
which boat would you rather have??

dollar for dollar 32 Doug Wright...he needs to make a pleasure version. his 32 race lay-up with 2.5's is running in xs of 120mph...a 4 foot shorter and much smaller skater cant always get there.

I think there are some 28 skaters running close to that. Ive heard thru the grape vine the old citre shine boat was faster than 120.

But its not fair comparing a 28 ft boat to a 32, but thats another thread.

i am sure the new 30 skater with outboards will be closer in price to a doug wright than a big power/arneson version...

tie bar mount is pretty much standard fair for arnesons on cats, on vees it mounts on the steering/trim plate and on the cats it has a high mount kit to keep it out of the water and tunnel...

more pics...
