Are you talking about Jack Bailey of BoatFreaks? Because he's dead.
He passed away in his sleep some time ago, after an illness.

If you are talking about "BoatFreaks", the site is alive and well.
Jack did pass away a couple of months ago. We were at his funeral. His son TJ is keeping the site going as usual and they were down a short time to go to another server. There was an anouncement of this change in advance.
