How does insurance work in a situation like this? No way the marina had enough insurance to cover a total loss of that magnitude 
From my understanding most boat insurance does not cover "named" storms. Who is stuck with the tab?

just think what a mess. heads,gas tanks,batterys all leaking down........a hazard to smokers to say the least........the building dept. will inspect to see if neglegence is involved..........then a boatload of law suits and a busload of namecalling............my feelings go out to all involved......m.m...

We went back to take pictures for insurance purposes, and could not even FIND his boat. While we were there, FPL tried to get the power on in the area and it started a fire in some boats when the power lines began to spark. The fire dept. responded to put it out, but they made us leave the area before we could find out anything further.
