Marketing: Why doesn't each race venue
Why doesn't each race site/venue have a contest for a Miss/Mrs of the race to be held, e.g., Miss/Mrs Key West World Championship or Miss St Cloud, etc..etc???
I bet even Klaatu would enter if there was Mr XXX venue contest.
Think about it.. Maybe Trump would sponsor one .He has a small home somewhere in Florida

........because the other sanctioning bodies would protest that she isn't the true champion due to not competeing in thier events.

The Bennihana Grand Prix use to this. This pagent was part of the week long activities. I think this "old idea" could be resuracted.

Twin...Please note it would be VENUE specific, e.g., Key West, St Cloud, Deerfield, New Joisy, etc etc...

My ex was "Miss Offshore" at the '03 Sarasota races and was Parade Queen in '04. The contest was really well done and in '04 they had almost all of the previous 20 winners there.
I'm sure someone has pics, and I know we were dissappointed that they dropped the contest from the races for '05.
