put it on a pallet, crate it up with some plywood so nobody messes with it... and see who is the cheapest freight company in town...

make sure you drian the motor (if it hasn't drained itself.. :D ) since it will be going thru colder temps now...

Make sure they cant tell whats in the box also.insure it also.

I've used ABF and Delta Air Freight on different occasions. ABF you can do on their web site, check the internet infrequent shipper for best rate.

You can check FEDX Ground also. We have gotten several items from customers this way into the shop. I would suggest one of those plastic engine shipping containers, they work great.

Do you know of a place that sells them and are there different sizes that would accomodate a blower engine?

Masher,Maybe some boat builders in your area have some Mercruiser shipping containers laying around from engine packages.
