Some scum took advantage of no power, no police and no alarms. Broke into my shop and stole my tools, big floor jack, and many other things I'm discovering missing every day. I'm going to every pawn shop with a detailed list of everything.
I did not have any insurance on those items. They left my car collection alone, so that was a blessing.

I have 5 full time collectors and a credit manger who are always fighting with the sales department. Last month we lost 6K on a credit card scam from the salesman that always makes the most noise when credit is denied.
So I made him a sign that hangs over his desk.

Ed...Get a solar hot water heater & you'll have all the hot showers you could want. I did. Back in 1987. Not to mention it will cut your electric bill in half, or better. Oh...and don't brag about it to the neighbors after every hurricane, or they will all want to use it.
