The boat is not a replacement nor a substitute hull because Troppoli did not order a new hull and the 42 was not damaged beyond repair to allow a replacement hull.
On top of that, Troppoli did not show to race in the Worlds this year.( But oh!!! If he only did!!!

Scott & Wyatt did not have their 2 start minimum in the SV Unlimited Class in the current year...

Nevermind everything else, how does a boat pass pre- race inspection and is allowed out on the course in that condition?
Brand new 47' Outerlimits boat, with brand new crew, neither raced in SV Unlimited class from 11/04 thru 11/05 and was NOT-allowed to race in SV Unlimited even when it offered not to run for the Title.
This boat had a solid bottom and was race ready.
The race Team Firewater also tried to enter the SVU Class, but was denied.
Team Donzi tried to enter the SVU Class but was denied. (Here is where I believe the canopy story came from.)
I hope you got it by now Mark! If you think Reggie is playing within the Rule Book, then show me where he is within the Rules.
I would be more than happy to read it....
Now I see posted, in Super Vee a team that raced only in the P-Classes had moved up into Super Vee Class for the Worlds?
This was explained on another thread that just because you qualified in one class doesn't mean you can go and step up in any class you want at the Worlds. Actually that was someone's explanation when I said OL's had a team with plenty of starts in the 2005 SBI Season.
So there you have it Mark!
Prove me wrong and I will accept it.....

Sorry for the Deletions folks, but I 1st thought an advertiser complained about my posts, but I was set straight by the OSOAdmin that it was not the advertisers.
I certainly didn't want to see OSO lose anything over it.
As it turns out, it was a few Racer's that complained.
Oh well, If you know who they are, you can thank them!

Alright, I'll add a little spice..... Both the engines in Reggie's boat were toast at the end of the speed run last year- 150 mph= 0 psi water pressure. But hey, a record is a record
