What to do to get saltwater ready?
Hello all, dont know if this is the place for a newbie question or not...but here goes....If you only boat in freshwater, what needs to be done to go to the ocean, and what needs to happen afterwards? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Also anyone else crazy enough to take a 24 foot boat out in the ocean? Thanks!

Zincs on your tabs and outdrive
VHF Radio Single Engine? More tools than you think you'll need Credit Card (for SEA TOW) Flares Aluminum Trailer As far as taking a 24 in the ocean goes, let the weather, not the calendar dictate your schedule and you'll be fine. I used to run a 22 in the Pacific. |
