That's why it is called endurance racing. I said it was too simple. If you don't want to compete, don't. If you're worried about breaking the boat, then don't compete. The point was this, if people are already heading down Key West for the races, then capitalize on that fact of spectators and other boaters heading down. You don't have to race back.
