I'm sure you wouldn't but please do not consider dumping on the groud somewhere. Either try 10 gals at a time in you vehicle or give it to some neighborhood kids ;

Try to find an empty drum. You can atleast get it out of the boat then figure out what to do with the drum. Not the greatest but it gets you going foward.

You should be able to take it the Environmental Protection agency or the DEC office they will take gas at a fee of course. I had to dispose of 35 gallons 2 years ago.

Good luck.

Havn't had any problems yet and i've been doing it for 15 years with 2 boats each year. Don't forget the stabil. for that 1/4 tank.

I agree,,, I would rather have 80 + gallons of fresh gas than 100 of stabilized in the spring... Plus I read an article that there isn't as much moisture as everyone thinks, add to that we have fuel/water separators.

For condensation to happen, usually warm moist air must be present.. our tanks are slightly pressurized w/ gasoline vapors which don't condensate. and with the poor quality of gas these days i'll stick w/ as empty as possible over the winter..

I would never stick 10 gallons of 4 year old gas in anything I owned. maybe a gallon at a time in the truck or semething.
