Cat spotted on Florida Turnpike
Yesterday, south of Orlando, I spotted a 36+ foot cat heading north on the Florida Turnpike. Color was a dark yellow, close to orange with a matching trailer, no markings, graphics, or mfgr name on hull and an open cockpit.
Was surprised me that the cat was sitting flat on the trailer, not tipped up on it's side, so I assume it didn't exceed the max beam for towing.
Shame I didn't have a camera, or at least heading in the same direction (I was headed south).
Anyone know anything about this boat??

Are you sure it was'nt that new 43' Nortech? It also is a dark yellow, orangish (tangerine) kinda color. Talked to him at the NY poker run. It's the 1st 43 built for Nortech, and it was powered with 1150 Nortechs engines.
One bad AZZZZZZZZ lookin ride.

Re: Cat spotted on Florida Turnpike
No idea. Like I said, no markings or graphics. Totally unmarked.
I didn't get a good look at the stern as it passed me going the other way. It was rigged with drives though.
If it is a 43' wouldn't it be too wide to tow sitting flat and level?
I'll have hit the Nortech site and see if it's close.

The 43 Nortech that I'm talkin about, was sitting flat on a trailer. They pulled into the boat lift area right behind us. And the boat did'nt have any markings at all. I did'nt know what it was till I asked the driver of the rig.
It was kinda a yellowish tangerine color.

Yeah, may have been it. I just went through all of the pics on the Nortech site. Some of the colors and stern shape looked like it. It also sat real high on the trailer, so I assume it would need a lift to get it launched.
BTW thanks GLH. Close but no cigar. It's not flat enough.
