Finally got my steering. Time to install everything. where did you guys mount the tank for the fluid? does it have to be higher then the power steering pump?

SEE, I told you so....(a TRICK little bird told me you'd get it today).. how do you like it ?? be careful mounting the rams..I lost alittle steering travel(tight turning) but I been told thats normal.. are you mounting the rams between the drives or outside ?.. I am supposed to get my hydraulic helm Tomorrow...we'll see...DOSN'T THE TANK HAVE A PICK UP TUBE ??..shouldn't matter...I think... :eek: :eek: :rolleyes:

Hey Dave I'm mounting the rams outside the drives. The tank has a fitting on the bottom. I wasn't sure if it can be lower then the pump. The instructions aren't specific. The system looks great. just got done changing the bolts in the bellhousing. Back to work.

Hey guys anyone know the measurement to set the rams at? The guy at xs sent me the wrong instructions and I'm tring to do it tonight.
