Default XM weather radar

Does anyone have it or tried it? Considering it, but I dont want to waste my money. Garmin has a portable unit that I have been looking at. Any insight would be appreciated.

Its seperate from the radio package. It costs 30.00 to 50.00 per month for the weather radar. You do get the radio stations included with the wx package though.
