Hooters is a franchise, so I think if you want to buy one and put it here that is up to you. I personally think that is what the lake needs, it totally fits the atmosphere of the lake, it works in season and out of season. It would be great to see one on the water, I think it might be a first but any at all here would be great!

Yeah I was just reading up on it, looks like everything is spoken for in the states. Seems silly that they would not want to do something here, but that is kind of the point it is more a place that you could actually take the kid to instead of the places with the girls with g-strings and the place could survive year around.

happening as we speak in NH at Lake Winnepasukee. The lake is getting too crowded and they think they found a way to "get rid of" a popular type of boat.

More expansion will do nothing but hurt the lake!! Developers see nothing but $$ signs and could care less about what future impact it will have on the lake. Just tear out some more trees! Overpopulation will eventually lead to a speed limit, it's just a matter of time. They've all ready taken the fun out of entering the Glaize arm with idle speeds. I hate to see it happen, but there's nothing that will stop it.

Limit the cruiser traffic would be a good start at making the lake more enjoyable. Main channel residents are selling their homes and trying to find cove locations because of the damage the rough water is causing to the shoreline and docks.
