Cocaine bust at 15st Ft. Lauderdale

On Sunday December 11th Police and DEA seized over 200 Kilos of cocaine from a Mako Centrer Console that attempted to arrive at the 15th Street boat ramp in Ft. Lauderdale.
Undercover agents had been watching the house of the smuggler for over two weeks before his arrival at the the ramp on Sunday where his girlfriend met him with truck and trailer. The smuggler, Jose Pagan, was a former employee of TNT Custom Marine and Doller Offshore before he left to work independently on his own. |

What does a kilo bring now? Watched Smugglers Blues(Miami Vice,1984)last night and they were talking 35-40K per Kilo. Just curious on adjusting for 20 years and inflation :D

I know Jose, he's been around along time also used to work for Goldman was on the crew of Podavano's boat, Mountain Dew / Taco Bell

A kilo now is 18k-25k depending on source.
