Default Donzi in 6 to 8's

i was at smoke on the water when i approached a guy who pulled in with a 95 top gun. all white with a red falcon on the front. great lookin boat so i wanted to comment on it when his friend jumped off and proceeded to tell me that cigarette is a great boat but no one makes a hull like donzi. then he tried to tell me that he was in the gulf in 6 to 8's going 80 mph in his 38' donzi. i just wanted say to the guy if your still a member and you get this message, "BULL****"!!

And you didn't say it to is face why?

So, a 38 ZR can't run 80mph in 6 to 8 footers? I've see them run hard in Factory 2 in 6+ footers, but I don't know how fast. I always assumed they were running 75-80 mph.

I love Donzis more then anyone I know and I wouldn't run a ZR that fast with 6ft under me. Hell I dont think I would run any boat over 70 with 6ft under me. first I would worry about busting my boat up and then my body could only take so much of a beating! Don't get me wrong the 38 ZR can take a beating but when you have a 6ft roller you usally have a 12ft whole.
to fall into or stuff the next wave or 2.

8 footers HUH? Most people will never see true 6-8 in their boat. Like Shanghied said the bigger the wave the bigger the whole

Everybody knows that only an APACHE could handle water like that!
