2000 46 Skater GPS@223MPH ???????
 

I was checking out my new (Feb. 06) Powerboat Mag. and saw an add in the classifieds that made me wonder......

It read as follows....

2000 46 SKATER (4)1800HP GE Turbines,
GPS@223MPH, $1,600,000 (then his name and number)

My question is, If someone has a 46ft Skater with four turbines and has GPS it at 223MPH, then why haven't I seen or read about it here on OSO???? I would think something like that, everyone would be talking about. If someone does know the skinny on this boat, then share it with us!!

I'm not trying to start an $hit with anyone, I just saw the add and it caught me eye. :drink:

Oh wait you just paid over 1.5 Mill. So aw who cares about insurance you must have it covered in case of loss!

Yea, that's what I thought too!!! Heck, 816 area code in only on the west side of the state, isn't it?? The only Chip that comes to mind would be Chip with Competition Marine, but he is in St. Louis......... What's the area code over there????
