Default Wilmette Harbor

Anyone know this harbor? do they have a launch ramp? is there a fee? is it user/ powerboat friendly? cant find much on the web about it. I was only about 40 min from Northpoint but have moved to Palatine and looking for a closer ramp to Lake MI.

I think you have to live in the community to use the facilities. Diversey is you best bet for Lake Michigan. What boat do you have?

No ramp, a couple transient slips, not many decent size slips in general. Lots of sailboats. There is a fuel dock though. You don't have to live in the nieghboorhood to get a permanent slip, but the wait list is 10-15 years anyways.
It's too bad, it could be a nice harbor if some work was put into it. Diversey would definitely be your best option.

It sucks but I did it several times with my 259 Checkmate and a dually. I`ve seen top guns and 41 Apaches put in there and I know they did`nt get air dropped in....

Diversey is no problem with that length. I pull my 36 Outlaw down there which is 42 foot on the trailer. Take the Kennedy and get off at California. Go right onto California but stay to the left. About 75 feet up is Diversey. Make a left and follow it straight in.
