I zoomed in some of the pics of the August 27th Lake Champlain run... What a great time... It was a little windy... :D Does someone still have the phone number or E-mail of the lady who took the aerial pictures that day?

This is a joke right? I don't see twelve foot breaking seas with the water turned white from blowing spray.

Man, you guys need to be out on the ocean or the great lakes to see rough! Anyone split their gas tanks open in those waves, ripped out blosters etc? I think not.

Some portions of the run were in the 5'-6' range. Enough to slow down the majority of boats. They are not long rollers like encountered in the ocean either, they are closed radius stuff that'll rattle the fillings in your month.

The pics you see were in the 3-4 range.

The year before only about 7 or 8 boats out of the 40 present went out... That was the roughest I have been out on this lake since 1989 easely 8'.

I have been in much rougher in the Ocean and I am sure the great lakes get rougher but anything rougher than 8' anywhere I am heading in as fast as I can. I unfortunately have to pay for the sh!t I break! :drink:

It's easy to go 90 mph in 7 footers sitting at a computer or at the end of a bar... :D
