If memory serves me right, you still have a chance to beat Fred.
Is this an indication that the boat is moving closer to the water, or the scap yard?

Re: Best trailer tires for my aplication
I replaced the TowMaster s, I think carlisle made them with Goodyear Marathons and very happy with them. The Towmasters were total POS and the trailer company got me the GY for cost. 14inches were like 60-65 each.

Re: Best trailer tires for my aplication
10 flat tires last year on truck, boat trailer, and car combined, (including ejected wheel off boat trailer).
I have had good luck with Goodyear Marathon trailer tires.
Jassman always puts Cooper Discoverer LT tires on his trailers, and they did well on my truck.
My current boat trailer has Road King LT truck tires on it, and they are OK. I now carry two spares if that tells you anything.
Jon, I would go for Goodyear Marathons and not think twice. Go ahead and definately get E load rated tires. You can't have too much tire.

Make sure you do this!
if you are going to change brand of tire, be DAMN sure you triple check clearance, last year I changed all the tires at once on a tri axle I haul a 31' profile with, even the spare. I forget the brand I used, but all were uniform size of of course.
100 miles later a blow out on one, and by the time I got to the tire place I had almost gotten the second. Just because they say they are the same size, I learned tires are like shoes, everyone's are just a little difference. There is as much as 1.5" in width between different 275X75X15" tires, more than enough to cause clearance issues.
Learn from others screw ups, life is to short to mess up everything once yourself.
