At least act like you want to sell the boat. If you don't care enough about how the listing looks, how did you treat the boat itself? Those are just a few things I notice when I'm looking around. http://www.offshoreonly.com/esvon/page-8367.html and remove cockpit carpet from my add :) been on the market for 11 days. as a seller, you have to be reasonable with the boats value or you will sit on it forever. price it right in the beginning even if your upside down. sometimes its better to take the loss and move on because usually its only going to get worse. |

I can think of a Bullet I am somewhat interested in. The word "firm" comes to mind. I personally don't think it's worth anymore than the next one. Pics are a pet peave of mine. I look at ads on a daily basis. I can look through OSO classifieds and find a large percentage of the ads that have several pics of the boat that tell me nothing at all. There will be five pics posted of the boat and all of them are different angles from the outside of the boat. This tells me nothing about what the boat has to offer. Why not do a pic of the cockpit, cabin, engines, stern, and outside to give me an idea of what I'm looking at????? Oh, the trailer topic is a good one too. If I have to spend extra $$$ to get one for a boat I'm probably gonna look elsewhere. Buck |

I think ever person responds different to each classified ad. I am in the advertising business and everone is different in their buying habits and how they respond. Each ad tells a story about the seller. One thing I have noticed over the years is ads that are lengthy in words really means they need to sell. Just a observation.

Also list in your classified ad that you lost your job and your phone will be ringing off the hook. :D I know some of you guys have used that line and it worked. You know who you are :D
