For those old enough to remember, this is just like the late 60's when the Insurance Co's helped kill performance cars (along with OPEC).

Why, cause they can as they know that with some of us fanatics, we will pay anything to keep playing. :(

Thats a g   d number

We have gotten quotes for clients on a 29 Force Offshore with a Teague 900 EFI and the best number with a clean driving record and CAT experience was 5000.00 still a ridiculous number.

That's what I was thinking. I'd pay it and get locked in before they figure out their mistake! :D

Thats seems like a great rate. about a 3rd what i was quoted for my 36 NTw/525's for next year. Problem is that both total, and worldwide probably went through marcal, which im not very happy with now, in fact im pretty pissed at, and didnt renew my policy. I am now covered by a family umbrella policy.

Not for quite awhile  but I'd damn sure need to smoke something to get in the frame of mind to pay those kind of rates.

That's what I was thinking DT42. A buddy of mine in Alabama has a 30' Eliminator w/500's and he's paying much more than that with a nasty deductible!

Your right about insurance, but most late model suv's get less gas milage then those Camaros, Mustangs, or Roadrunners in the 60's. It doesnt stop people from buying them or manufactures from building them. :D
