If a boat has a 12' beam do you need wide load permits?

anything over 8'6" you do.... anything past 10'0" will attract alot of attention...... 12' is a circus going down the road....

I spoke to Myco about a tilt trailer. They are big dollars and used will be almost impossible to find. They are very heavy trailers and you will need a large truck to pull it. A one ton dually will be a problem, not so much for the weight but now you have a big sail up in air. Wind gusts can really push a boat around loaded on it's side according to Myco. You will need a big truck/ tractor. I gave up on the idea.
