I hear ya, but w/ those prices you could proably get a new one w/ 525s. I know it wouldn't be as fast... but new.

Don't be so sure !!!

What do you think it'll cost to have them build ya a NEW 28 with NEW Merc 525's in it ?????

130-140? or get rid of the 525's and get some 650zuls.
Sorry, I'm an east coaster...

I spoke to the brothers about 1.5 yrs ago about Phils boat.
And they quoted me like 120-125 w/ hp500s new.

Probably faster....
Pantera's w/ that kind of power break 80 easy...
I think sabers hull is probably faster.

What ever happened to the 28 saber out in Cali?? For sale last summer, I think it was a '94(?) twin 454's, 30-40K??? Did it sell??

I ended up with the old "Wave Hippie" boat, so it will be headed to Kansas soon!!

I've heard that the mold for the 41ft Saber is the same as the 41ft Apache, right??? I think I heard that they bought it at an auction after the feds got APACHE. But then I've heard that someone else bought them from the Fed's????? its cornfusing

So what is the 28ft Saber Mold?? Is it the old 28ft Apache mold??? Or is it their own design????
