Re: Great American Concepts
A great boat. Ed Smith from Michigan ran the boat for many year. THe boat was built by Eddie Morentz in California and ran as Rain X if I remember correctly. Ed purchased it in approx 1996-1997 to run in A class then moved to P-3. It is really fast. If you have any questions send him an e-mail. [email protected]

Re: Great American Concepts
We built the engine for the boat when Ed had it. Boat ran very fast with 510 cu.in 1X4 carb. 800 HP . Around 96 mph with that power.

Re: Great American Concepts
Eddie Morentz had a great deal to do with development of the stepped bottoms on the LaveyCrafts....I would bet they are pretty similar
